Zune makes price cuts and is now cheaper than iPod

Shoaib Hashmi

ZuneMicrosoft’s digital media player Zune has seen some cuts in its prices. If the product is good, people are going to buy it anyway, but if it is not up to the mark then people would spend some more money and buy the better one. iPod currently dominates the industry with 73% of the market which is enormous and doesn’t seem to slow down. The new MP3 player prices are $179 for 16 GB, $139 for 8 GB and $99 for 4GB player. Today Microsoft has also released the software update 3.1 for Zune which contains game update, new bundled games and Zune social features.
