Zillow, the real estate search engine, has launched Show Case Ads, a self service advertising platform for local advertisers to advertise their products and services on Zillow. The new product allows real estate agents, lenders and other parties to buy 25, 50, 75 or 100 percent of the available ad views on searches for homes within a given ZIP code. This will allow them to hyper target the localities in which they are interested.
Zillow already had an advertising system in place called EZ Ads, which now reaches 13,000 local advertisers nationwide. Prior to EZ Ads Zillow had a platform which they called Interactive Ads. Show Case ads is a new overlay on top of EZ Ads and comes with a new pricing structure and updated monitoring. The new monitoring features allows advertisers to get real time updates on the performance of their ads.
Greg Schwartz, vice president of ad sales at Zillow commented on the launch of the new ad platform by saying:
Zillow is committed to offering local professionals affordable and easy-to-use tools to get in front of our large audience of consumers interested in real estate and buying and selling homes. We strongly believe that the more targeted an ad can be, both at a national and local level, the more useful the consumer will find it and the more successful the advertiser will be.
Buying Show Case Ads is extremely easy and just requires a few mouse clicks and off course a credit card. Advertisers can additionally provide their photo, phone number and other details along with the ads.
In addition to the launch of Show Case Ads Zillow is also announcing that it will be partnering with 282 newspapers nationwide to help the company sell these ads.
