While almost everyone has said that YouTube has everything it needs to make money, the online video service had just given it no ear. Well presently that appears to be changing as YouTube is testing a project with selected partners to offer paid video downloads to those who are willing to pay a price. Apparently its up to the partner to decide whether the downloadable video is available for a fee or free, plus how it is to be licensed to the user. Even if there is a fee for a video it is apparently going to be lesser than $1 and at times where money comes the hard way, YouTube has to find a way to generate more revenue.
