Looks like YouTube got our message when we said that adding annotations be made easier when it introduced the feature last year. Now users can directly add one without the need of opening up an editor, just click on the video and a menu would pop up so you can insert one anywhere you like. Use the slide bar to set the duration for which it appears as well as jump across directly to annotations instead of wait watching the entire video. Apart from making the videos more interactive, the videos can very well get a bit annoying with excessive comments popping up every time, but then it shouldn’t be of worry as users can always turn them off.
