YouTube ‘sidebar’ comes to the ‘Toolbar’

Shoaib Hashmi

YouTube LogoYouTube, which is considered one of the most popular online video sharing site, has now come up with a new toolbar. Though it is not official yet, the options included in the latest toolbar are not new, the only difference now is that they are now more visible. The option appears at the bottom of the page.

The toolbar includes the option of ‘Play/Pause’, ‘Next Video’, ‘Volume/Mute’, ‘QuickList’ (showing the number of video from the QuickList), ‘Loop’, ‘History’ and the ‘option of closing’. These are the options which are already available on the sidebar. You can find the toolbar on every page of the video sharing site.

According to Google Operating System, such toolbars are also present on other sites like The Hype Machine and thesixtyone. The toolbar on these sites work fine with the audio but lets see how this option works with the videos. So far the option is available in the Firefox browser and it may be in the experimental phase.

Have a look at the page of YouTube containing the toolbar at the bottom of the page.
