Youtube, yeah the same Youtube that is the video sharing mogul, has realized that there are other cooOl places out there besides itself. So if you cant be like them you should better join them. Hence the site has now joined Facebook and Twitter.

This in a way is a recognition of the fact that according to the folks at Youtube and by implication Google Facebook and Twitter are the winners in the market segments in which they operate. Oh and yes since Youtube is new on these sites, it thought the same thing about you guys and hence have given a detailed instruction on how to join it at these places.

One caveat about the new move by Youtube is that, they are joining Facebook and Twitter to just blindly flood you with their updates and not to listen to you as well, which to us was what web 2.0 was all about – two way conversations. They are now just broadcasting themselves, literally.
