I wasn’t a big fan of YouTube annotations and I thank it for giving users like myself an option to turn them off. This is going to rid one of the mutated videos that scare the living Martians out of me. Annotations is no doubt a helpful feature and makes videos more interactive but with this option YouTube has shown that it really cares about those who would like to limit such interactivity.
