YouSendIt, a web based service for sending large files has decided to cut its cost of delivering pays to its employees by waving goodbye to 14 of them. The company has been brought in a different reason, stating that the cuts have been made to redirect more resources towards the enterprise side.
With a total funding of $34 million in its pocket, the company definitely has plans to spend $14 million from the third round into this idea. I think he better step would have been to lower the price as it’s pretty high compared to various other services. This in turn would bring more users and eventually more business.

At the end of the day, it’ll always be about the bottom line for these big companies/corporations. I’ll bet that lowering their prices to cater to individual users is one of the last things they’ll think about. Small bussiness and individual users should try out 2large2email (http://www.2large2email.com/) which has affordable and cost effective services for everyone.
