You don’t have to worry about the intelligence agencies or a group spies watching every move you make, especially if you are a politician and more importantly visiting a foreign country. Why? Well you have got bloggers ready to punch in a story and slap it to their blog if you give them a chance to do so. The most recent example is of a Belgian Minister of Defense Pieter De Crem who happened to visit a local bar in the New York City had his drunk hang out blogged down by Nathalie Lubbe Bakker, a bartender there.

The politician wasn’t pleased with this and made sure that he does something to take revenge and had her fired by calling her boss; which he so obviously denies. And if he thought that words were the only thing that could defame him (as he puts it) there was someone with an eye to capture him loving every sip of the drink. Be careful, words circle pretty fast in the blogosphere and this is just one example.
