If you have added analytics tracking code to such a page and you have visitors to this page, analytics data will still build up. Noindex tag is to tell crawlers to not index a particular url. But, say, you run an email marketing campaign containing this url, then what? Analytics would capture all footprints nevertheless.

Just an update Matt Cutts gave a bit of clarification. He said that no follow don’t prevent the loss of page rank they just prevent the people recieving benefits.
