A micro-blog by the name of Yonkly was recently launched in public beta. Yonkly gives micro-blogging a new face by allowing users to customize their page, add in ads, watch and share videos and images – all in the 140 characters space. Yonkly service allows cross-posting on Twitter, and offers integration with Flickr, Plaxo and Twitter accounts.

Yonkly has a limited version that’s free to use, and a paid subscription version that ranges from $10 – $100 a month, depending on the storage space you prefer.
