Yammer, the cor-po-rate twitter that won the prestigious (not so much after they won it) TC 50 award has opened up their API to allow third parties to build and plugin apps into Yammer. Twhirl has immediately subscribed to the list of wannabes who are eager to board the Yammer ship and have announced that they would be adding Yammer support to Twhirl soon.
Yammer is claiming that (as a result of continuous pumping from Mike Arrington) the service has been able to grow significantly during the last one week or so and have added 10,000 corporate networks and 50,000 users. That’s not so bad for a company who has TechCrunch at its back.
