Carol Bartz, Yahoo’s new CEO, plans to work on the company’s search business. In a meeting with her employees she stated that she’s had an informal conversation with Steve Ballmer, probably on the same note. Though a source said that this was the right thing to say, keeping people happy while you figure things out.
