No matter how hard Yahoo tries to keep the fall out of its employees under clouds, the news makes its way to the public, giving us an idea how Yahoo is still shedding off experienced and highly valuable staff that has been around ever since Yahoo made a start.
The latest news reports of Steve Boom making his way out of Yahoo, taking away with him more than ten years of work experience and relationship with Yahoo mobile. The reason for his departure is still unknown as we wait for him to come out and say for it himself.
TechCrunch broke the ice along with Todd Teresi, the SVP of Network Business and who is currently the Chief Revenue Officer at Quantcast. Now is this some sort of trimming and thrashing taking place within Yahoo or is it that executives who have spent years don’t see much for themselves at Yahoo? It would be speculating too much unless some sort of comments makes way out of the management at Yahoo or those who walk out Yahoo’s doors. To me it appears that these highly experienced members don’t much given the volatile relation between investors and the board members. Yahoo, you need to do something before the long Autumn dries you up completely.
