When apps at Apple’s App Store are doing great then there is absolutely no harm in some company focusing primarily at making some for the iPhone alone. Yahoo has done the same as reports put it that Yahoo Mobile will be giving up making apps for other devices. This is quite a blow to those of you who do not use the iPhone and will have to make use of the numerous Yahoo services via the phone browser. While all this sounds pretty justified from Yahoo’s point of view, I personally think that the firm should focus at other devices as well, which continue to grow fairly rapidly and many of which already have a very large market.
