Yahoo’s first Carl Icahnized Board meeting didn’t release its discussions yet but news is roaming that the board has agreed to talk about its potential deal with AOL. FT is reporting that Yahoo is going to talk to Time Warner for the AOL deal. This is something that was highly expected because the Officials at Yahoo were taking keen interest to turn the deal into reality as this deal would probably give Yahoo a huge boost in terms of services or may be Yahoo is interested in getting AOL’s experienced execs through this deal.

Though any progress is not noticed yet but Time Warner CEO Jeff Bewkes said in the meeting that the final deal would be unveiled ‘soon’ and the members are still discussing various issues. According to FT:

According to one person familiar with the company’s thinking, the Yahoo board approved a new round of discussions with AOL, though active deal negotiations are not underway at this stage.
