Xbox crossed 28 million sales since the console was launched in 2005. The device has met success globally save in Japan where it has failed terribly. It follows Nintendo’s Wii that leads with 40 million. I guess the reason behind Microsoft’s success as compared to the hyped PS3 are its lower cost.Plus Xbox Live has seen considerable success with over 17 million members; the number has risen from 14 million just before holidays. I guess PS3 should do something about its price if it plans at competing the two and reaching out more users.

I cannot believe that the xbox did so well. I mean, I am happy with the digital frame that I got, but for something to do that well, it makes me want one really bad. It is a great release from Microsoft.
