WizeHive is a Twitter-like service that displays messages in the same manner, only conversations are threaded here. WizeHive also carries task management features as well as enabling users to create a small database for workspace – that comes with customizable data fields.

The startup is great for workgroups, and is free for up to three people with 50MB of storage space. The rest have to pay $8 a month (small groups) where additional fees for extra storage also comes in. You can also have add-ons on the API which will cost below $10 a month. One of the founders, Michael Levinson states:

I needed something to organize all my thoughts and activities for DreamIt. Stuff was flying all over the place. I looked at Basecamp and Central Desktop, I didn’t think they were intuitive enough, the way the interfaces were designed, for my partners (who are business partners, not techies).
