Microsoft today announced it’s rival to Flickr, dubbed Microsoft Live Photos. Its focus is more on sharing and social collaboration of photos with family and friends.
The best part also is that you can upload photos, manage your galleries, and keep albums in sync, with the Windows Live Photo Gallery desktop application. And also that it resembles much to goggles picassa web and desktop app.
I liked it also because I could see my photos as thumbnails, thumbnails with additional information, or as very small icons. Along with that every photo can be tagged and your visitors can also leave comments.
The best part along with that, Microsoft has released many services today as well, and Windows live Photos seamlessly integrates with all of them giving you a complete web 2.0 experience with collaboration and fun.
