Microsoft has announced that from 7th of May, XBox 360 users will be able to chat with upto 6 contacts of Windows Live Messenger by plugging in a USB keyboard into the XBox. This will surely prove addictive to gamers as they would love to chat with other gamers while they are playing.
Microsoft Live Messenger has 260 million users, where as there are around 6 million users in the XBox Live community. The XBox Live community members send more than 2 million text and voice messages a day. Combine that with MSN Live messenger and the figure will likely increase many fold.
