When Chrome fails to impact Browser Market, Google uses YouTube to promote it

I haven’t see Google promoting its products earlier, but lately the search giant has taken up the task to do so. Current reports state that it is promoting Chrome, its browser using the wide audience it has at YouTube. The entire marketing scheme has been initiated with the name of Chrome Shorts and presently features eleven videos that boast about the power of its browser. Sooner these shorts will also appear as featured videos at YouTube’s homepage meaning that the word Chrome will get to all those visiting YouTube. I wont blame Google or consider this move a bad one and why should it be? It has the product, it has the tool for marketing and it has the audience, more importantly what it’s promoting isn’t a useless item. One thing is for sure, Google has realized that it will have to promote Chrome, given that it hasn’t made much of an impact in the browser market.
