WebKut to dramatically ease the task of taking web snap shots

webkut-thumb WebKut to dramatically ease the task of taking web snap shots WebKut is a new Adobe AIR application that lets you take snap shots of web sites with a breeze. The application is so easy to use that I have fallen in love with it the moment I installed and tested it.

Taking web snapshots with Webkut is a three step process, first you have to open up the web page by entering the url in the URL textbox of the application. After the web page is loaded, you can take the snap it in three different ways 1) snap shot the entire page no matter how long it is 2) Select a subsection of the page and than double clicking on the selection 3) snap shot the current view. Once you have taken the snap shot you can hit enter and save it to your disk by providing a reasonable name to the snapshot.

Webkut also allows you to do some customizations, so you can also set up a default directory to store all your snap shots. In addition to this you can set up defaults for the image type and Webkut will automatically save all images into that respective type. The image types currently available are JPG, PNG, GIF and PDF.

After using the app for 5 minutes I can safely say that its a must have app for every blogger. You can download the app from here.
