Mozilla released its latest version of Weave (Weave0.2), a platform for integrating online services that are utilized within the browser. The release is most probably aimed at filling the niche left by Google’s stoppage of Browser sync development; which automatically synchronized bookmarks between various computers.
Weave wasn’t much of success with its previous versions, one major reason being the presence of Browser Sync, but with this gone and a new more useful version available, Weave can very well put up quality service in synchronization of various data. The newly launched Weave already comes up with a bit of hiccups; such as it doesn’t fully incorporate its support for;

Issues with the setup of ‘new account’ procedure
It is said in the release notes that the Linux 64 bit issue can be resolved by downloading the version of Firefox 3.0 build from getfirefox.com and the ‘new account’ as well as the add-on process can be worked around by turning off the offending add-ons from the settings.
However the changes introduced in the new version are more improved than its predecessors as it provides an enhanced user experience with improved error detection and handling with an added notification dialog added to the status bar to display errors encountered in functionality. The scheduler lets you synchronize data, expanded set of supported settings for bookmarks, browsing history, save passwords etc. These are but just a few enhancements found within the Weave 0.2 and the developers are still eager to get more feedbacks to improve the user experience for the platform.
