YouTube in Side bar

If you are a YouTube video addict but couldn’t watch it due to other important work then you don’t have to worry anymore. Now you can not only watch YouTube videos in the sidebar of the Firefox browser but also continue your other work. Following are the steps:

  • Access your desired YouTube video and copy the URL.
  • Open a new browser/tab and paste the code in the format www.youtube.com/v/youtubeid where youtubeid is the id of the video e.g. the URL of the video is http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QIYNNAL_vYc&feature=related. Here QIYNNAL_vYc&feature=related is the video id and hence it should be written as www.youtube.com/v/QIYNNAL_vYc&feature=related.
  • Paste that URL in the browser and access the page in the full screen mode.
  • Bookmark the page and go to its properties and check the Load this bookmark in the sidebar option.
  • Save the changes and access the bookmarked page.
