Youtube has been secretly working on HD quality videos and users could view them in 1280×720–also known as 720p, thanks to a hack uncovered by Wired. There had long been speculations that Youtube will roll out high definition video playback sometime soon, and now you could try it out on your own by appending "&fmt=22" to the end of any video URL to view it in HD. CNET is reporting that the HD videos take around 15 minutes or so longer than the normal videos to convert to flash, but this will vary with the length of your video.
