Telecom giant Vodafone
, today publicly launched its social network offering called Pocket Life
, which is a geo-aware social network. You can now be updated on the location of your friends, or let them know about yours along with status updates on other social networks. Pocket Life uses GPS to create route maps and share them with your friends.
The service is also available on your mobile and the application supports 30+ phones. You can access the mobile site here or have a look at the walkthrough video

One thing to note here, that Vodafone is the largest telecommunications network company in the world, If its phones started to carry Pocket Life as a default application, Pocket Life could easily become the most used social network.
