Virgin Mobile slashed  its prices on mobile broadband by offering unlimited access for 30p a day. Virgin is going head-to-head with O2 as both companies are cutting down prices to increase competition. The company claims that their service is 3 times cheaper than most of the other networks.

This new prices will be effective from Dec 8. The unlimited package offered by Virgin Mobile is a bit heavy due to the usage policy of just 25MB a day.
