Viacom Media’s third quarter results are here and the network’s revenue has increased almost 6% as compared to the same period last year. The company has managed to increase revenue despite of the fact that the ad sales went down 2%. The company has reported $3.41 billion in the third quarter revenues. According to the Q3 report:
Softness in the overall advertising market contributed to a 2% decrease in worldwide advertising revenues to $1.16 billion in the quarter. Domestic advertising revenues declined 3% due in part to ratings softness at certain channels.
