Utterz, a microblogging service similar to the now ubiquitous Twitter, now goes by the name of Utterli. Besides the change of name, the site has added groups. So now users could make groups and invite fellows and friends to the group so that whenever they share a photo, a status update or a video with the group it gets syndicated to everyone. The groups could also be kept private so you don’t have the compulsion of sharing your personal insights with the rest of the world.
In addition to this the service has also implemented a speech recognition system that does a really good job recognizing what you are saying and posting it to Utterli from your mobile device, which is a preferred way to use Utterli. Coupled with these two additions is the opening up of the API, which has already seen a couple of apps being made for Bebo and Facebook.
