Online communities social software provider Userplane has announced that the chat app of the company will be available to their users on various social networks. The app will work with MySpace, Facebook, Friendster, Ning, Flux, and Bebo. The company owned by AOL, has plans to collaborate with any social network that contains open API in order to expand the app’s compatibility with other networks.

According to AOL’s Vice President and General Manager of Userplane, Sam Wick:

Users check in with multiple social communities every day and their connections shouldn’t be limited to that site’s portal. Cross-platform chat enables true collaboration, and users across the world are embracing this innovation.
