If you think you are following lazy people, who just made their profiles and forgot the purpose of Twitter and feel like un-following them give UnTweeps a try. The service lets filter out those users who haven’t posted updates on Twitter for quite a long time. It’s pretty useful, given that when one wants to cut short those you are following it’s pretty tough if you have those in hundreds. UnTweeps makes that easier, giving them a simple reason why you unfollowed them; you are just not an active Twitter user.
I’m testing this tool out right now. I’ve gone on one too many “following” sprees lately, following people who only tweet once or twice then abandon their account.
