Southlogic Studios, the Brazilian game developer has been acquired by the French video game giant, Ubisoft. Based in Porto Alegre, the Brazilian company consists of twenty developers and has developed games for PC and other consoles. It would be interesting to see if the game consumption in South America rises. The continent has faced problems due to piracy in the past.
