Twitter has tweaked up its search a bit and now displays where the tweet had been sent to you. Although it really doesn’t help users of the micromessaging service in any way it does prove advantageous to the developers of Twitter apps. I think so for the obvious reason; I myself stick to Twhirl and don’t have any clue as to how many desktops clients there really are. Perhaps Twitter will soon put a price at placing the app names in the search results as well (the home page already displayed these).
