A baby using Twitter.. how often do you hear an unborn so tech savvy? But Baby Tyler made it all real by sending a tweet. The child’s mother wore Kickbee around her belly; a device created by his dad (a telecom student at the NY University). The device sensed the movement made by the baby in the womb, converting it into a message that kept people updated on baby Tyler’s movements. Tyler’s dad, Corey spoke of his child-to-be messages stating:
After Ellen first began to feel the baby kick, she’d always ask me to come and touch her belly to feel it. But it took a few weeks for those tiny movements to get strong enough to be felt by my hands. By the time I could feel it, I realised that I just couldn’t be right there next to her every time she felt the baby being active. I was interested in how I might capture the essence of the experience of knowing our baby kicked when I couldn’t be right next to her to feel it with my hand.
