Twitter continues to climb higher and gain more popularity as it entered the list of top 100 sites in the UK. It currently holds 91st spot in all categories and the seventh position amongst social networking sites. It has jumped up to that position in less than a month from number 23. This survey only focuses at traffic that is handled by the main website and I can bet the numbers to climb higher if one were to count the desktop clients, using cell phones to access the service etc. Given its success I won’t surprised if rumors of Facebook buying Twitter make way to the blogosphere.
