Al right so Twitter is definitely the best way to break in any news from any part of the world where access to the Internet is possible, but at times this reach may not exactly sound useful. The same happened today when Twitter’s HR department sent a notice of rejection to those who had applied for the position of Project Manager. Apparently the micromessaging service ended up sending the notice to all candidates making the list visible to all of the 185 people who had applied for it. Following is the message that was delivered to the recipients:

Hi,

Thank you so much for taking the time to apply for the Business Product Manager position at Twitter, Inc. During the course of our recruiting efforts, we come across many fine candidates such as you, and we carefully evaluate each candidate’s background and interests against our projected workloads and staffing needs. Although we are impressed with your background, the hiring committee has decided to move forward with a different candidate. We will keep your information on file for six months in case future
opportunities arise.
