Just when you think Twitter look-alikes had finally come to an end, you have another one in line honking and boasting about providing users an easy way to share what they do with others. Micro-messaging has for sure got the flare with its instant approach to the countless people worldwide and many a services have capitalised on the Twitter concept. Koornk is also one off those with an extra 10 characters added to the 140 Twitter allows.
First of all it’s neater, but being neat in appearance isn’t something one looks forward to when it comes to web based services. The difference between Koornk and Twitter is that Koornk lets you search for other users via their interests and location.
Users can also search for friends by typing in the location they want to make friends in or those in your city or country alone and not just by username. Users can keep others updated about what they are doing meaning it’s one more point shouting that we are Twitter with new dress and a bit of decorative pieces.
Although Twitter is way ahead for such new comers, but they can do a lot as well given that Twitter is up implementing its business model and has already dropped out the SMS service it offered for free. Koornk and the likes can capitalize on these and grab the users that always look forward to free services.
