After it let users blog, share photos, etc by sending emails, Posterous makes a move to get in the race of popular media sharing sites on Twitter. Posterous has released its new API that lets developers integrate Posterous to any Twitter app. This one from Posterous is going to be a touch different from the usual media sharing sites, given its flexibility of use. It lets you upload multiple images in one go without performing any compressions on the original formats and sizes. While TwitPic maybe the obvious leader when it comes to image sharing on Twitter, Posterous can prove to be a pretty good alternative, especially when its API is much easier to use.
