There are quite a few names that have made it as big as Twitter using its name (TweetDeck, Twhirl, amongst desktop clients) and TwitPic has grown exponentially. It lets you share photographs, images on Twitter and with 2.3 million monthly unique visitors, it remains the leader in the race. Today TwitPic reached another milestone as it had its one millionth user. While the number keeps rocketing up, like Twitter’s fail whale, TwitPic has started experiencing a few issues with downtime lately. I hope it’s just Twitter’s success it follows and not the fails.
