It appears Twitter would very soon become the dominant promotional network, if not an ad network. There is almost every one trying to use its vast reach and TwitGuru is another one to take advantage of that. The startup is a human powered ad network that lets product promotion leverage the ever expending Twitter userbase. It simply lets users tweet a guess price for a product and tweet it, right from its own window. The person whose guess is correct wins the product. Now the idea sounds pleasing for everyone, but it benefits the the advertisers greatly, as they save a lot on free publicity, which targets millions of users worldwide. The more you tweet the better are your chances for winning. Interesting, but I guess I won’t be using that to market products and trouble my followers reading those tweets.
