Music lovers have got a countless sites offering music lovers to get their hands at every bit of music from all corners of the world. It here when the creativity of man website developers kick in as they try to bring out something different from what already existing sites offer and TuneFad is exactly one of those sites based on music but offering loves to get a peep at what is recommended by others and what isn’t.
It uses the plain formula of users who ‘criticize’ an album and those who ‘love’ it and once the feedback of users has been up and taken, it is analysed and put up on display to help you get a peep whether the album/song would be worth giving an ear to.
The working is plain and simple, you put up an artist’s name and press ‘submit’ all that TuneFad does is give recommendations based on the tastes and choices of other music lovers. If it has those who criticize the album or artist it would show what alternate those users have for the album of your choice. Similarly for those who have liked your album/artist, the engine would display what else they prefer hearing to in a bid that your and theirs taste may match.
So basically it does nothing for it doesn’t provide you with how a particular album is actually rated by others instead it comes flooding in with the countless alternatives from album haters and lovers. Definitely nothing close to sharing wisdom in my opinion rather a way to share confusion, all wise men and women refrain from sharing such wisdom.
My personal recommendation for the site would; they could have done better had they not tried with their formula of ‘what critics prefer instead of this and what lovers like along with this’. It’s like taking your kid to a toy shop and letting others push their choices and opinions into his head. Waste of time, nothing else; the only good use I see is that I can learn names of various other artists and albums released so far, but that doesn’t appeal at all. Best of luck is all I can say for them for they dearly need it.
