Startups always prefer hiring someone from the higher ranks from giants in the Web world in order to strengthen the team. Tumri has taken a similar initiative as it hires Yahoo’s former exec, Jeff McCombs as its CFO. He was previously held the position of SVP of business operations at Yahoo and states that he had planning to join the startup for quite some time and that development at Tumri wasn’t an opportunity to be turned down. Tumri lets advertisers better target display ads based on who is viewing them and where, a pretty effective way to juice revenue using effective means.
