TravelMuse, a Menlo Park, California based travel planning startup has raised $600,000 in first round of funding led by Azure Capital Partners, according to a regulatory filing digged by PE Hub. I seriously doubt the saneness of this funding since in an economic turmoil travel and airline industry are the worst hit. Who would have money or stomach to go on a holiday when there would be no money to pay the bills at home

This was an incremental investment made by Azure. Azure put in 3.0M in Series A financing in May 2007. TravelMuse launched at Fall DEMO ’08 in September.
