ThemeForest, an Australian company, deals in trading and purchasing files. Their services include buying and selling of: site templates and themes to skin popular CMS products like WordPress, Drupal and Joomla. Users can sign-up for free and use their account to begin trading or purchasing files. Files start from $5, based on the complexity, quality and use of the file.
ThemeForest, a part of the Envato network, strives to produce websites and communities that empower its users. They proceed with this task by providing sites users to buy and sell digital goods and resources. Whilst also improving their skillsets, and socializing communities. ThemeForest caters to a wide range of audience and are home to creatives from around the globe.
Starting off with ThemeForest services isn’t that hard either:
-
Go to the homepage, create a free account (which takes just a few minutes).
-
Find the items you want by browsing or searching the ThemeForest library.
-
Deposit some cash to your account.
-
Purchase ThemeForest services you selected and you’re in.
The website usability is pretty smooth, meaning that it is easily accessible to everyone, with a nice color combination and neatly placed tabs. To keep things rolling, on and off ThemeForest puts up contests with cool prizes, which’s a nice attraction for the users.

I think ThemeForest is a pretty great service if you’re looking for decently priced templates – I purchased a couple. One pitfall is their deposit strategy but I’ve come up with a hack to allow you to deposit only the exact amount you need to purchase your package. If your total happens to be a multiple of $20 don’t bother reading the hack.

This is an interesting idea! It’s definitely cost effective! Are you currently using this service?

bbrian17 – I’ve used it to purchase two themes/templates and it’s pretty good. It doesn’t allow you to get completely customized designs but you can get good templates to start with even if you customize them yourself.

I’m tired of using free templates it’s time to start looking for something unique and this might be a good place to start!
Thanks for the info Nathan

bbrian017 – if you’re looking for quick turnaround and fairly unique templates this is definitely a good place to start. they aren’t totally unique since any number of people can purchase but they’re definitely better than the free ones.
That may be a feature they can implement – a sort of limited quantity approach so that you don’t end up with 10000 blogs with the same template.
