Congrats to Trackvia for securing venture capital, especially from such a well known member of that community, Tim Draper.

My firm pioneered the Database-as-a-Service industry when we launched our first service offering back in 1999. At the time, the VC community viewed cloud databases as something that would never catch on, as in &quot;who would ever depend on a third party for keeping corporate data safe.&quot; Needless to say, our company could never attract venture funds due to that common attuitude in the VC community.

Fast forward nearly 10 years and we are still thriving and profitable.</description>
