All Topix would have to do is require registration with a valid email address, a human moderator of its way too many forums, and IP banning and it could be a decent company. Instead it is the worst cyberbullying site currently on the internet. The sad thing is with some real changes, advertising would pick up and there still would be plenty of money to be had. Instead they took the low road and now it is mainly trolls. That is not the basis of a good company and with all the news out about the problems of cyberbullying, they need to rethink their business decisions and fast.

Did you say online newspaper? A newspaper carries news. The topix forums in many towns and cities are nothing but gossip and libel. Any newspaper organization that is reputable moderates its forums and does not allow people to be attacked. Topix is basically the Star magazine of the internet. It is beyond ridiculous.

Why there hasn’t been a class action lawsuit against that evil company is beyond me? Children are committing suicide over cyberbullying and this company is making a profit off of destroying lies with gossip and flat out lies. Something needs to be done.

Topix has become nothing more than an evil trash site with no accountability whatsoever. People are allowed to commit criminal offenses by libeling other people with lies told about them and then they are too gutless to even post who they are. You post lies about someone on the internet and then have the nerve to question their morals quite often? That site has become many an agent for lowlifes and over 20 attorney generals are going after this alleged newssite to date. The forum section should go away all together. If they are not going to do that about a true filtering system, messages have to be approved, and you have to register for an account with your IP posted. Oh that’s right, topix doesn’t have any morals and doesn’t care about truth despite claiming to be a news site.

i will wait until the electionis over and the new pressident is in office and settled in before posting any more comments about the atmosphere of this blogging community as the it is to well charged politically and I can not get a clear reed on peoples true line of thought but it does not look great but terrible in a perfect world we would not need any moderators but we do not live in a perfect world so I must be judging you on the effectiveness of your moderators

thread number 2 was OK the worst thing I read in there was similar to thread number 4/1 but not quite as bad and I think they will get back on track I’ll confirm this on my next post

it would appear if you do not stray far from the norm you are less likely to get insulting idiotic comments but on some threads this is unavoidable as they will they will start as soon as you have nice things to say about Obama and we should be able to float any idea as long as it is not criminal and is backed up with some facts

this is a place to talk about what ever is on our minds

but in all fairness I will keep things close to norm as I do not believe our society is ready to hear some things my luck would have been no better on any other blog most likely

my next few blogs will be non political and by partisan let me take a 2 day break so that with a clear mind I will continue to give you all my honest and unbiased opinion

my current standing with toppix is 1 good 4 bad threads the one good thread was marginal as the it got into some insulting and even strait out sexist but the bloggers seem to understand it is a matter of opinion and facts and statics are what we base our opinions on I will make my final decision based on my experience on at least 10 threads maybe 20 if I have the time and the PATIENCE

to the corporate I see alot more good posts and less flames so I can not say for sure if you are doing something different but I think you are and if so thank you

if I just ran into a bad group on my first few threads adding to that was the fact my first thread focused on a highly controversial but important topic if this is the case I apologize I am posting things as I see em I do not want to give anybody an undeserved bad rap but I will not praise a bad environment as if it was heavenly so to that end I will cuntinue to give my honest and unbaised oppion

the forth blogg had your normal round about flames nothing more the ohers had exteamly vile actavity in them If I do not see any more of this vie activety I will toss the frist 3 and form an oppion and a total of 10 or more blogs that would count number 4 as thread as number 1

yes toppix has a big impact on the news but not the kind I would like to see we have people blogging twisting the storrys into battles that ignore the facts

we have a bloger who calls him self adolf talking about our solders in Iraq as if the president ordered them killed

we have people talking about the size of their manhood and subsequent requests for sexual favors

this is not news this is trash now will the tribune step in and clean this mess up as they own 75 percent of topix they should or trash it for the sake of free speech and call it loss on their taxes

yes they got a raw deal here no debate on that but what do they plan to do next

while I did change the minds of a few their a lot of people who have their foot in their mouth and head up their ass

anybody knows what a zombie looks like it is created by censordhip

it is a beast with many heads eyes closed ears plugged mouths asking every one do you understand the words coming out of mouth

this problem comes partly from the moderators they moderate to create controversy they will allow about the size of ones Private parts and subsequent requests for sexual favors and comments about bush singling one us solder out for murder and deleting more meaningful comments cause they go against their view I could fix this place but I need the help of the moderators they would rather have controversy than any comments outside of their political view
