Steve Job must be well prepared for the upcoming Macworld Keynote and he may very well mention the iPhone. The success it has seen and the platform it has provided for the developers to market their apps, very successfully. But I seriously doubt him announcing anything about an iPhone nano. Why? Because I think there are quite a few reasons that just dim out any possibility of Apple making a nano iPhone:

This new iPhone app is one for coffee lovers on Twitter: CoffeeBuzz. The app comes to a coffee lover’s rescue as it helps locate coffee shops near your location, through iPhone’s GPS feature. CoffeeBuzz also gets you updates from other coffee lovers drinking coffee near you.
An iPhone app for the Change.gov site has been added to Apple’s Web apps. Barack Obama’s Presidential transition site: Change.gov had earlier added OpenID login for people wanting to comment. This is largely due to the fact that the site traded the traditional copyright for the Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 license. Christopher Carfi, co-founder of Cerado acknowledges that.
Walmart the popular store has developed an iPhone specific application. If you access the homepage of Walmart from the iPhone, you will be greeted with an iPhone specific portal that will help you with your shopping. Apple has come up with a new look to its App Store directory. Now the focus is more on the free and top paid applications in each category. Both of these lists appear at the left and right side of the search results. This gives users a chance to see the most popular free and paid applications. The offer appears to be only for the new customers. In the U.S., only AT&T is selling the iPhone online, other regions include Hong Kong and U.K. According to Brad Mays, AT&T spokesperson:

Most of us might have used TuneUp
which is an iTunes plugin that corrects wrong or missing song meta data and album art with bonus features. Now the plugin has released a MAC compatible app.
The application is very slick where you just have to drag and drop songs into the side gadget to have their meta tags ‘cleaned up’ or cover art downloaded automatically. Now with the app you can even know which concerts are planned ahead within your area.
The apple iPhone app, Truphone is now juiced up with two new features. The first one allows you to call international destinations on very cheap rates via GSM, without having your Wi-fi turned on as you previously needed. This means that you just need to pay for your GSM network connection, and the rest of the call uses VoIP. The second one is my personal favorite which allows the iPhone truphone users to make FREE calls between each other and also indicate their presence via the app.
