Stop and make a hop to Start Mobile as it launched its free iPhone App to help these artists distribute and monetize their work. The app features images from painted rooms at Hotel des Arts in San Francisco and each image can be flipped o get information associated to the artist and their works, along with links to their personal web pages, etc. I bet this one is going to make it big and help the countless artists earn a name as the app meets success. I am so ashamed of myself. I had least possible idea on how to use my dad’s phone when I was 9 (to be true, I barely knew how to turn it on/off) and this kid aged 9 has developed an iPhone app! Lim Ding Wen from Singapore created Doodle Kids, a painting application for the iPhone and it has been downloaded 4,000 times in a fortnight. The app lets you draw with your fingers and had been designed by the kid for his sisters aged 3 and 5. This isn’t the last app he has designed as he is already working on a sci-fi one titled Invader Wars. How did he do that? Lim knows 6 programming languages already and loves reading books on them. I guess I will be reporting many more apps by this young developer in times to come.
HBO and Walmart released their apps for the iPhone in efforts of reaching a wider market. HBO came out with its ‘HBO Snowman’ app – which runs clips from popular HBO shows. Whereas Walmart’s app is called ‘Walmart – BlowAKiss’.

The only drawback is the low frame rate but that can be overlooked given its overall performance at live video viewing. You can get the app here.
