image thumb81 "There is no denying the power of both!" Digg enables sharing content on Twitter and Facebook.

Digg is not giving up any chances that may help it to continue as being a major runner when it comes to sharing information on the Web. It launched its Digg bar with its own URL shortener, which was targeted by many for being controversial and presently it took another major step. It released more sharing options that enable users to tweet or share any content on Digg on Facebook. You can also email the link to a friend (I bet very few will be interested in adopting this method). With the coming of these new sharing features, Digg has waved goodbye to its shout feature, which I think was badly needed, I had a great disliking for that feature.

While this might be an addition of new features to Digg in plain terms. It points at something bigger; both Twitter and Facebook are no doubt becoming the hub of all content sharing. Digg had already announced the integration of Facebook Connect.
