Well yeah, the alptop evolution is going down, now the crazy of Miniature NetBooks is on the rise outselling the laptop market in 2008 in Europe itself.

Well mobility is the key, and it’s not far away that work from mobiles for even a layman(balckberry is expensive though), would be there.

We could already see it via the G1 andriod phone which is customizable, application integrable and well cheap.

Having all your office mobile is a must for us executives who are always on the road and wanting to keep in touch.
I believe in time we may go back to a mobile and a desktop rather than the laptop that we’ve all been heading towards for a while now.
I guess its a matter of how we get around the keyboard issues, although those people younger than me seem to be able to manage it already. Watching my kids on sms is quite an experience!!!
